This location brings me back a bit. The year is 2001. Financial Drive was just paved and ended right here since the 407 was just being constructed. The road carried absolutely no traffic at all since it didn't go anywhere or serve any facilities yet. My son was 14 in the summer of 2001 and turned 15 in August. As most boys his age are, his interest in driving was growing. We used to go to the Meadowvale Go Station and he'd drive my 3/4 ton pickup around the lot. That soon lost his interest as he yearned to try driving on the road. This section of Financial Drive fit the bill as he was able to drive the short distance between Meadowvale Blvd and the end of the road right up here by the cache site. During those father/son drives, it was not uncommon for the Dancer Man to yelp "Slow Down Mikey".

FTF is a toonie from 2001. Maybe it was on board for those interesting rides. Does The Queen look scared?

CONGRATULATIONS to Fred and Wilma Flintstone on their 375 FTF. I hope you took Wilma out and blew the whole 2 bucks on her!
