Welcome to Challenge Alley. Check for other challenge caches in the area. This is based on the Challenge Alley in Southern California published by Team Stevecat. As far as I know we don't have anything like it in BC until now. Please feel free to add any challenge caches of your own.
Sumas Mountain Peak - 1989
When I placed the caches in this area, one of the first hikes I did with my children came to mind. I still have fond memories when, in 1989, we hiked down to Chadsey Lake on the Centennial Trail and up from there to the viewpoint at Sumas Mountain. My children were 7, 6 and 2½ at the time. This was way before geocaching existed of course. I often think how nice it would have been if geocaching existed in these days. So, to remember these fun hikes with my children when they were younger and to introduce children to hiking, I have placed a cache near Sumas Mountain Peak at 2975 feet. Another cache, GC9462 Sumas Mountain, is right at the viewpoint.
