Geocache Description:

The term DNUC was coined by the Cyberchasers and stands for Definitely Not Urban Caching.

Warning: ticks, bear and cougar live and feed here - don't be lunch.

Length of hike is very dependent on vehicle clearance and owner's tolerance of nature's pin stripping.

No digging, or rearranging of Nature's beauty is required; you may have to huff and puff to get to the cache location, but this should be an easy find. Have fun! Please post pictures if you can.

The cache container is a 1 litre plastic jar with screw top lid. It is hid at the base of a stump with a few rocks to hold it in place. There is blue flagging tape on the stump and in a nearby conifer.

When hid, this cache contained four jeeps, one of each colour (yellow, white, green red) to bribe people to hunt this cache. Please, only take one jeep per party that visits this cache - I'm hoping for at least four visits.

Tried to hide this cache on the May long weekend, but sliced a 2" gash in the sidewall, so turned around and limped home on a spare well past it's "best before date".

If not for a new gate at N48 29.064 W123 51.886, this would almost be a drive by cache. The road to the top of Mt Muir comes up the north side of the mountain; getting to the north side is the challenge...
