Doris and George are Rescued by NVtriker
Doris and George are two characters from the movie, Same Time Next Year. We thought it would be appropriately fun and entertaining for the ET Trail cachers (some of us who do, indeed, come back again… and again!) to have a little series of caches in honor of our "anniversaries" of caching the ET Highway and other Nevada trails. We hope you will enjoy the various Doris and George escapades and that you, too, may return to this beautiful place in the desert someday.
Doris and George have been getting into all kinds of trouble out here in the Nevada desert. In this “life segment” they are finally rescued by NVtriker! Thankfully NVtriker knows this area and these back roads really well AND he's really good at deciphering encrypted messages left in hidden film canisters so he broke the code and slipped into Area 51 to rescue Doris and George. Word on the trail is that Doris and George left nvtriker a thank you note – you might enjoy reading it. Although you are not near the Back Gate at this cache location, DO NOT go anywhere near the gate at Area 51 or you may suffer the same fate as Doris & George (and nvtriker will not be able to pull off this mission a second time!) You have been warned!
