Geocache Description:

This cache is not too difficult to get to, but hard to find. It's well camouflaged. It's also kid and dog friendly. We recommend visiting this cache from 8 PM to 10 PM on Tuesdays if you want to "Dance with the Stars".

This cache is located on one of the highest points in the Providence area, once referred to as Tin-Top Hill. Its name historically comes from a bright piece of tin that was hung in a very high oak tree on the summit and used as a pinpoint location by navigators and surveyors. However, according to the Providence Journal, before 1891, the land was called Tin-Top Hill because tin cans were often dumped there.
