This should be a fairly quick find.
It is a roadside cache with shoulder parking. The shoulder is wide enough to complete come off the road and is along a straight strech, so it's safe to stop.
Be careful traveling this area at night. We've had a couple close calls with deer and moose (dash cam video posted on the NOG forum of the moose incident).
