Geocache Description:

This is either a multi-puzzle or a puzzling-multi as there is an onsite puzzle to figure out the final co-ordinates. Good place to put the bike down and work the braincells instead of the legs. Get the kids to do the counting and the teens/adults to curse MacPacSon's maths.

This was always the fun area of the bike path - especially with a bike trailer on for extra gravitational acceleration.... and excited squeals from the passengers. You racked the bike up to the max and hurtled down the sweep towards the narrow bridge and up the other side - hoping like mad that there wasn't someone else coming out of any of the other paths that make up this crossroads.

Now that our youngest is a foot taller than the MacPacParents we don't want it to stop being a place of family fun.

Make sure that you keep an eye on the GeoYounglings as others are sure to make the most of this swoop in the path with speed - just like we have so many times over the years.

Final is a short walk or very short bike ride away.

BYOP, cache too small for TB or swaps.

What you need to find:

  • A= Sum of the visible panel ID's starting with letter 'E' (11 of them) [even number]
  • B= Large № on road side above tunnel [odd number]
  • C= Large № on bike path side above tunnel [odd number]
  • D= № of trains on the sign above the tunnel [odd number]
  • E= № of outward ridges along the tunnel [even number]
  • F= № of lines of text on the train sign - excluding company name [even number]
  • G= № of people on the train sign [even number]
  • H= № of bolts surrounding panel E5 [even number]
  • I= № of tunnels [odd number]

See MacPacSon's maths calculation on the blackboard to find the final:
