This cache is the first of six planned caches at the Big Darby Headwaters Nature Preserve. This 800-acre preserve encompasses a mixture of wetlands and streamside forests. The headwaters are fed by a complex of underground seeps, which contribute millions of gallons of clean, cold water to tributary streams of nearby Big Darby Creek. After finding the cache(s), enjoy a walk through this lovely preserve. To learn more about the Big Darby Headwaters, visit http://www.nature.org/ourinitiatives/regions/northamerica/unitedstates/ohio/placesweprotect/big-darby-headwaters-nature-preserve.xml
The cache, placed with the permission of the Nature Conservancy, is a matchbox with a log only so bring your own pen/pencil.
The preserve is open dawn to dusk. Pets are not allowed in the preserve.
