In keeping with all things royal this month we meet at Penderel’s Oak public house. The original tree provided sanctuary for Charles II when escaping from Cromwell’s forces during the English Civil War in 1652. The oak tree grew on Richard Penderell’s country estate of Boscobel House, Staffordshire and is the name of the building where this pub is situated.
This pub serves a wide range of hot and cold drinks and cooked food. It’s a large open pub so look out for us Geocachers with a pile of trackables on the table. The venue is child friendly and is wheelchair user assessable, so, all are welcomed.
The London Event takes place randomly each month and we welcome all Geocachers from all points of the coordinates!
