As part of The Calgary Public Library's centennial celebrations in 2012, they launched an exciting new initiative - Library Scavenger Hunt - 100 years, 100 Treasures. GPS units were available at all library locations which could be used to search for geocaches in the vicinity of each library. Some of these geocaches were existing hides and some were completely new.
Please note that this initiative occurred in 2012 and the Library is no longer offering GPS units for borrowing.
The library staff are aware of the cache and were in attendance when it was placed although it has been moved slightly from the original location. Please be respectful of the area and re-hide it as found.
FUN FACT: Did you know that in December of 2003, the Crowfoot Library opened its doors with 100,000 books for 100,000 customers.
