You must be present and add your caching name to the swag bag log DURING the 15 minute period to claim the event.
We may well retire to a nearby establishment for more socialising afterwards, details to follow. So grab your balaclavas, burglar masks and swag bags, or any other props you need and join us...
Timetable for the Event is:
The event will begin precisely at 6:00pm on Saturday, June 9.
Suitable music and the appearance of a swag bag will signal the start of the event. Guess what I'm coming as!!!
Before this, act muggle. There's nothing to see here.
18:00 - Quickly make your way to the above co-ordinates and get your Den props out/gear on.
18:00 - 18:15 - Log the event by placing a piece of paper with your caching name on it in the Swag Bag (optional)
18:05 - Event "meal"
18:10 - Group photo
18:12 - Raffle for FTF and Booby prizes
18:15 - The swag-bag will disappear and the event will close, leaving no trace...
There are currently two prizes which will be allocated by a draw. The FTF prize will include a WWFM IX geocoin (currently subject to production delays - it may actually not be present on the day ) and a themed booby prize.
Information:
Teignmouth Tourist Information tell me that there is no other event currently planned on the open area on the Den for the period of the flash mob, although I believe there will be salsa classes in the Marquee at the other end. Don't be fooled by them - it's the South end that you really want to be!
Parking is available:
- 1-2 hours free (if you're really lucky) e.g. in Brunswick Street or in Strand from N50 32.574, W003 29.860 NORTH-EASTWARDS
- pay-and-display parking in most neighbouring streets and car parks. This mostly finishes at 6.00pm anyway, and most on-street parking is charged at 40p per half-hour, 90p per hour (max 2 hours).
- Beware the Point car park - although this is bigger, it is more expensive and only works in full hours.
Geo-dogs: Note that while dogs are permitted on the Den, this is used for family recreation and often ball games, so please be responsible. Also be aware dogs are not permitted on the adjacent stretch of beach. You will need to walk a couple of hundred metres further east .

Awaiting final confirmation of numbers but it's approaching 60 -just like Weather - serves him right for not being here.
