Geocache Description:

Come celebrate a weekend of geocaching in the Village of Sun Peaks. This annual event will feature 25+ new geocaches in addition to the 75 existing geocaches on the mountain and in the valley.

The Kick-off event starts at 9:30 at the Adventure Center at Sun Peaks. Hiking trail maps, GPX files, and geocache listings will be available for the start. For those who want to take the chairlift up the mountain, the lifts open at 10:00. The Kickoff Event starts two days of geocaching on the mountain trails, on cross country trails in the valley, in the village of Sun Peaks, and on some backroads of the area. Take the chair up the mountain to enjoy wildflower meadows in the alpine while finding geocaches. Return for another day of geocaching on Sunday and join us for a barbecue at Masas on Sunday at 4:00.
