This is a micro...but an easy find.
Have any of you cachers been to Pumpkinseeds? (GC2T87J) The CO grows giant pumpkins and graciously maintains a cache with their seeds for any cacher that wants to try out their own green thumb. These pumpkins grow to over 1000 lbs. Dancer Woman and I dropped by on March 11 ,2012 and I planted the seeds in a pot in my office on April 30th. Only one seed germinated and the plant broke through the earth on May 11. The plant quickly grew to a point where I had to take it out of my office and find it a new home. Since I don't have the garden space for such a monster, I looked for an alternate location and found a home for it here. What are brothers for?
The pumpkin plant will be growing on his front lawn in the garden surrounding the tree in the centre of the lawn. I'll keep this listing up to date with details of how the giant pumpkin plant is doing.

PLEASE NOTE..The cache is on private property with permission from the owner. It is NOT located in the garden or the tree in the centre of the garden, so please don't go in there.

As of May 24, the plant is in the greenhouse in the backyard and will be transplanted soon.
The 2012 pumkins got eaten by squirrels and never had a chance to grow.
The 2013 pumpkins grew about 1 foot tall and just stopped. We'll try again in 2014!
