Bury Court was only rediscovered in 1967 when there area was being prepared for forestry planting. It is the remains of an 800 year old moated manor house owned by the Norman landholding families and included a Hall, bakehouse and chapel. The remains are worth looking at. This was Liz and me's first walking trip which led to 2and1/2 years of walking the coast which then led us into the world of Geocaching by daughter Razorfishy.
