Geocache Description:

Located along the scenic Cookstown - Thornton Rail Trail. This cache is guarded by the Beast. Unfortunately for the unsuspecting cacher, the Beast has many sharp teeth and doesn't travel alone. The guardians of the Beast have established a prickly perimeter around their boss. If you break through their perimeter, be prepared for a long and ardurous battle with the Beast itself.

Hopefully you will not suffer the same fate as the turkey who stumbled into the Beast's lair...

Please note: I do not accept online logs without a signing of the physical log. No exceptions will be made. I know some people are too old or have ailments that prevent them doing a cache of this type and the terrain rating is set high enough to reflect the difficult nature of this cache. I know it is on a rail trail but that does not mean you "need" to log it online because you saw its general location. If you are unable to reach the cache, please refrain from asking permission to log as I will not respond. I do however allow you to send a more able bodied cacher like Mr. CSC up to retrieve it for you. So long as you are present and sign it yourself, it will count as a find.
NOTE: As with ALL rail trail caches, there is a significant risk of poison ivy when accessing this cache. Please use appropriate caution. Long pants and closed toe footwear are recommended.
