After doing maintenance on my very first cache I decided it was time to continue my higher terrain caches. I highly recommend not going on your own to this cache due to the obsticles you will need to overcome. Difficulty will greatly depend on water level. Plan to get a little wet as I crossed the creek several times along the way. At points I find it easier to just walk in the water. Please use caution as some rocks can be slippery due to moss and algea. Use the parking coordintes as posted, trying to access in any other way could lead to being on private property. As you start your journey you will pass an area with large building blocks, as you move along enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Along the way there is a nice tiered waterfall of various shale layers, as you approach GZ you will notice a pile of trees that have formed kinda like a dam on the creek. The climb to the cache was fun in dry conditions. Expect a harder climb after rain. Its a great view down from the top. The cache is a 5x8 lock n lock. Please be sure to latch lid tightly and make sure you put it back exactly as found so the next cacher can enjoy the adventure too. I hope you enjoy this adventure. As always, cache at own risk, be safe, have fun and Happy Caching!
