An ammo can hidden in Lake Ouachita State Park. Park permit # GP 28-12-04
This is another cache that was originally hidden by Flannelman. It was called "I'm Lichen It". Once you locate the area, you will see why it was such a fitting name.
"Tornado Proof" is a fitting name as well, due to the fact that it survived the EF3 tornado that slammed this penninsula on April 25, 2011. Again, once you find the cache, you'll know why it survived that as well. I found the cache still in place and in good shape after a year with no finds due to being inactive since the trail had beeen closed. I repainted the can and added a bit of swag and a new logbook, so it is ready to go.
This is another instance where you should be very careful where you place your hands. Definitely want to poke around with a stick a bit before reaching.
I hope you enjoy this cache, this trail and this park! Happy Caching!
