This is a flash mob event that will occur at the Shadow Lake traffic circle at precisely 6 p.m. on 20 June 2012. This will occur rain or shine. If there is a hard rain or significant lightning, we will adjust (see how I'll be dressed in the description below).
Come enjoy the local establishments, or not, while you wait to descend on the traffic circle interior. There are at least four places that you can grab something to cool you down on what might be a hot hot end of spring, start of summer day.
Please avoid the circle until the designated time. There is a sidewalk around and inside the circle. Please do not walk on landscaped areas.
At the designated time, I will enter the circle. I will most likely be dressed in my softball uniform, with gray pants and a bright yellow shirt. I will bring a container for you to drop one (a whole number greater than zero and less than two), piece of paper in the container to log your visit. Please make sure that your entry has your cache name and that it is legible, PRINTED in ink (includes from printed off your computer or typewriter), pencil, or if you are not allowed to use pens or pencils yet, please use a dull crayon. I will not provide paper or writing utensils for you to make an ad hoc entry.
FTF will be announced from entries deposited, as quickly as I can get the entries. We will then disperse faster than we assembled.
Please note that I will delete web logs for any entry that I do not have a legible log sheet.
Wheelchairs should be able to approach up to the wall inside the circle. There is a very small step at the wall. Any cacher inside the traffic circle is welcome to submit their entry.
While it should be obvious, it is a TRAFFIC CIRCLE. You will have to cross a street to enter the circle. Please watch for traffic as the driver may not be watching for you!
It is tempting to sing the Geocaching Theme Song while we are there, I believe that there isn't one. In searching for one, I found several suggestions:
