Geocache Description:

A robust pink tribute to my friend Farley, who helped save my plants and introduced me to GeoCaching.  The cache was assembled for her birthday in February, but we didn't actually find the right place for it until May 2012.

Miss Farley is an adventurous hiker, traveler, and geocacher, and so this one is a good challenge to get to (but still doable). The climb up Olomana will give you some absolutely spectacular views of Kailua and the windward side of the island... but it will take some huffing and puffing to get there. PLEASE if you do this hike, wear good shoes (or boots), go with a partner, bring lots of water and don't do anything stupid.  There are parts that are fairly steep or that require scrambling up a hill with a rope; therefore, be in good shape and don't try it in the rain.  For more information on the hike, see http://oahuhiking.com/olomana.htm .

The cache itself is secured in an absolutely safe location, about midway to the third peak, so if you find yourself leaning off the side of a mountain you're NOT close. Inside the box you'll find a range of amusements including a birthday card (please sign!), a jigsaw puzzle, a sketchbook with crayons, sticker tattoos, a poem, some beer caps, and a fetching picture of Ms. Farley herself.  Each of these hints at some aspect of Ms. Farley, so you may know her like we do!
