Geocache Description:

A nice easy cache & dash opportunity placed on the outer perimeter of St Botolph's Church at Burton Hastings.

This little English church is a simple old stone building with a tower, located in the middle of a small village a mile or so from Watling Street and five miles or so from the Fosse Way. St Botolph's Church was originally a 14th century building, though it is recorded that there was a priest in Burton Hastings in 1086.

Further information about the Church and a picture gallery is available at the following website:
(visit link)

Please note:
- You do not need to enter the Church grounds to access the cache.
- The Church only has limited opening hours but if it is open then it is well worth a visit.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication. There is also a Church Micro Stats page found via the Bookmark list (visit link)
