Geocache Description:

The cache is about eye level, roughly 150 feet off the Overlook Trail.
Cache is large enough to hold small trade items.
Lid unscrews to open

This is a 1600 acre city park with a 85 acre lake and 21 miles of hike and bike trails.
The trails in Lake Leatherwood City Park are designed as low-impact, single-track nature trails for foot and bike traffic. Many rock ledges, steep slopes, extended grades, creek crossings and varied terrain make most trails challenging for both foot and bike traffic.
Carry plenty of water and be aware of where you are, the park is plenty big enough to get lost in.
Be aware that the trails are multi-use and are shared between hikers and bikers.

You might want to have insect repellant during the spring and summer.
