AEROPORTO DI PERUGIA, SAN FRANCESCO D'ASSISI

Situato a metà strada tra Perugia ed Assisi, l’aeroporto Internazionale dell’Umbria rappresenta la principale via di collegamento da e per il “Cuore Verde d’Italia”.
Il 2 Gennaio 2012 è attivato la nuova aerostazione: San Francesco d’Assisi, progeltato da Gae Aulenti, ha triplicate le dimensioni rispetto alla vecchia, realizzato un nuovo ingresso e un nuovo parcheggio da 400 posti. Su un terminal moderno ed all’avanguardia idoneo ad ospitare un traffico di oltre 500.000 passeggeri annui.

San Francesco d’Assisi Airport, formerly known as Perugia Airport Sant’Egidio, serving Perugia, the capital city of the region Umbria, the green heart of Italy. It was expanded on 2 January 2012, which the addition of new terminal facilities designed by the Italian architect Gae Aulenti and partfunded by a government grant awarded to celebrate the 150^th anniversary of the unification of Italy (2011).
