Geocache Description:

When the kids were young we often came to this place for some amusement. Back then, when trains were the flavour of the month, it was also a location for birthday parties. Wascoe Siding Miniature Railway is open to the public on the first Sunday of every month. It is run by voluntary train enthusiasts from the Blue Mountains Train Society and is free to enter. The special trains are hauled by either a steam engine or a diesel or electric locomotive, on a 127mm gauge track with a tunnel and marshalling yard. It has barbeque facilities also. Rides cost about $3.00 per trip. There is a kiosk, which sells refreshments and souvenirs. You MUST wear enclosed shoes to ride the trains. The cache is now a camped mint tin. Please replace camo well as it is a high muggle area at the best of times. Congratulations- FTF Honours go to Toriaz and The Imp.
