Geocache Description:


We were out hiking these trails on Mother’s Day and, as Panda Ellie has recently become a grandmother, I decided to hide a cache in her honor. The cache is located just off the trail, not far from a trail junction, but there is a relatively steep slope for the last forty feet or so, hence the terrain rating. This section will probably be impassable after a heavy rain, so please limit your attempts to dry conditions only. Be sure to pick up the other excellent hides in the area.

There are ticks and poison oak throughout the EBRPD, but you won't necessarily have to get into any of that to reach this cache.  Park at any of the trailheads and make your way in.

I dropped a FTF geocoin in this cache in the hopes that the FTF will also create a new cache and drop the coin in it, so that the coin only moves from one FTF to another. Happy caching!
