River Valley Trail where adventure and beautiful scenery await you and your feet or you and your bike with friends ofcourse!
A short distance from parking area, a nice easy stroll past ponds and into the forest area along the river. This Williams Lake River I had always thought of more as a creek. If you continue along the trail to the end from parking lot its only about 4 1/2 km to walk but we like to take our bikes. The trail crossed back and forth along the river with 14 bridges in the section of the trail. We have seen a variety of birds, some cows, a bear, and snakes down here. Its a great place to bring your camera in any season and we love how the views change...rocky creek, thick forest, arid grassy and hilly areas and so much more! There are more caches down here so pack a lunch and enjoy the day. This cache is camoflaged and hiding fairly low. It is a few steps off the trail, please be gentle with the vegetatation.
