Rawdon Valley Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is a roadside cache, hidden on the public road allowance.
DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE UNLESS YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE CREVACESS IN THE LIMESTONE THAT YOU MUST STEP ON TO REACH THE CACHE.
Cache is a tube, larger than a micro, and is firmly attached in position. Simply remove the cap to access the cache log.
The original cache was placed here as a thank you to Cachengrab who has kept us travelling the concession roads of Rawdon Twp for several weekends (months?) . Thank you for your ‘Cache Meets’ and your caches, especially the ones we’ve managed to find.
When we came upon this hill, atop what we now call ‘Ghost Valley’, we were surprised no cache had been placed here.
So we placed this tube containing log sheets but no trade items.
Enjoy the cache site and the drive down through the (almost) deserted valley but please remember that the land on both sides of the road is still PRIVATE property.
