Deadman's Ridge #1 Traditional Cache

This cache is one of three we placed on the Deadman's Ridge trail, a new addition to the Moab Brands mountain biking trail system north of Moab.
The Deadman's Ridge trail connects with the Bar M Loop, the Bar B trail, and the paved bike path that parallels Hwy 191. It's about 3.2 miles long and requires intermediate to advanced mountain biking skills, but it's also a really nice hike.
If you're not riding or hiking any other trails, you can park at the information kiosk about a mile south of the Bar M Chuckwagon and start riding or walking east on the Bar M Loop. You'll reach the intersection with the Deadman's Ridge trail in about a quarter of a mile. The trail winds around to the east, turns to the south, and returns you to the paved bike path about half a mile from the kiosk, for a total distance of about four miles.
