Geocache Description:

This cache marks a point of previous times. Once there was a blooming business here, selling Diesel fuel to the locals.


A small filling station near a river in a rural area. But all that has changed. Or hasn't it? The river is still there, the area is still rural, but the filling stations has been abandonned.

Small filling stations like this one can be found all over the world. Once they served a purpose, now they are just there, waiting for time to pass by.

Let's honour this small fillingstation and all others of its kind, by visiting it once more, but now for geocaching!

This is the first of a number of geochaches of times gone by! More to follow shortly.

Easy route to the cache. Accesible to all. You park your car within 10 yards! Ideal cache for travellers just on their way!
