Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small magnetic key holder. It is placed, along my daily walking routine of 4.5 miles. Please kindly note, that there are a few other caches placed nearby. Have fun, support the hobby.

Just recently, while walking, I saw the name “Freddy “ engraved on the concrete sidewalk. Immediately, the face of a former boy, member of our Cub Scout Pack came to my mind. A happy kid always eager to learn, to volunteer, very respectful with a big smile on his face. He was also a member of a little league baseball team where he played a right handed pitcher. He dreamed on been a major league baseball pitcher one day. But Freddy had two things against his dream; he was a poor kid and worst of all, he was missing two fingers on his right hand . In a world of competition and big money, it was going to be hard for him to reach the major leagues one day with just three fingers on his right hand. But he was s a happy kid with a very peculiar way of responding when he was greeted by someone. “How are you Freddy? And he will respond, “Just hanging sir”. There is an old saying that says “ that when you least want to be struck by something, from heaven a rock will fall on your head”; and things were not going well for Freddy’s mom so she moved to New York with Freddy looking for better options and I never saw him again. If you ever meet Freddy, tell him his old Cub Master sends blessings to him.
