Grandpappy has entered the spirit world many, many years ago. He was not a very nice man and his spirit still roams the Earth in search of what he has lost.
Many years ago there was a very old painter who did not have alot of money, there was an art exhibit coming to town and if he won, it would make him rich and famous. The artist tried to paint but no matter what he painted it just was not good enough to win, which made him very fustrated. He said to him self, I would give anything to win that contest. All of a sudden in front of him stood a shrivelled old man with no eyes and no hands. He began to speek as his eye sockets which were black and empty kept opening and closing and his empty limbs swang and twitched. He said to grandpappy, I know how you can win, if you guarentee me your right hand I have the power to make you a world class painter and you will win from here on in. Agreed said grandpappy, knowing this was a evil thing he was agreeing to. The next day grandpappy showed up at the art exhibit and seen the most perfect painting that won first prize and low and behold his name was signed in the corner. Grandpappy took home the prize of his life. Years went by as Grandpappy lived a richful life. Grandpappy forgot about the deal he had made with this evil spirit until one frightful night when there was tap tap tap on his bedroom window, he woke up to see the hand tapping and clawing at his window, thinking it was a dream and ignoring i,t pappy went back to sleep. From then on every night it kept happening and it started to scare pappy so pappy screamed at the hand to stop and please leave him alone, and the rest of that night pappy could sleep. The next night pappy was sleeping when he heard a loud crash down stairs, as he went running down to see what it was, he felt a hand gripping his leg. Grandpappy was found two months later when neighbors started complaining of a bad smell. Cause of death, a broken neck from a nasty fall down the stairs.
