Geocache Description:


This cache is placed on memorial day weekend to salute our fellow sailors who have fallen and still fight for the freedom and democracy around the world.  This cache is located near the Chief Club Next to Navel Air Station Whidbey. You will find a chiefs club at almost every Naval base that you visit as part of tradition dating back to the first club in 1942. Naval Chief's are really the "mortar" that keep this organization we call the US Navy firmly "cemented" as the greatest Naval force in the world.
