The cache is placed in Swinnow Wood just north of the village of Bircotes in Bassetlaw Nottinghamshire on the edge of South Yorkshire. Â
You can park at the junction of Bawtry road and Tickhill road and take a nice walk through the woods.
This is my first cache so please tell me if there are any errors or way to make the experience better.
The cache is placed in Swinnow Wood just north of the village of Bircotes in Bassetlaw Nottinghamshire on the edge of South Yorkshire. Â The postcode says Yorksire anyway!
You can park at the junction of Bawtry road and Tickhill road and take a nice walk through the woods.
The cache is quite deep into the small woods and then you need to go off the trail. Â This is not good for wheelchairs or pram pushers sorry although it is not too far away from the path. Â At the time of placing the cache the undergrowth is not too deep but I would imagine it will get pretty rough as the summer progresses so it could be a tough one to find. Â Like most woods it will be muddy in the winter. UPDATE: This is very overgrown in the summer. The ferns are over 6 foot in height and there is bramble entwined in there. In the winter this would be rated easy. In the summer I would rate it very hard. You might need a torch in that undergrowth!
