Geocache Description:

I am a keen caravanner and going touring to different places enables me to find caches in new areas. I am sure there must be other caravanners who cache so I thought it would be a good idea to base a series very loosely on local sites I have visited. These vary from the very small privately owned sites permitted to take no more than 5 caravans to sites run by the two major clubs, to large commercial sites.

I am a fan of the smaller 5 van sites so have based this series very loosely on the locations of some of these. Many are are local to my HQ but others are sites I have stayed on so if you are a caravanner and see me on any studying my GPS come and say hello. If you caravan why not visit some if you are touring the area and find other local caches. In fact why not carry on the series near your own HQ

Please note that the caches are NOT hidden in any of the sites themselves. They are just in the general area or a short walk away.

This one is a screw top container with room for a couple of trackables and souvenirs. Now I hate nettles so I have tried to place this out of their reach. Can't guarantee though as the vegetation grows!

Please don't do this as a drive by as the road is narrow and twisty and there is a fair bit of traffic. There is plenty of space nearby just over the Motorway bridge.
