Geocache Description:

This is a multi cache that will take you to different spots around San Elijo Hills and then you will gather clues to lead you to the final location and secret code to help you solve and retrieve the cache.

At this starting waypoint , this used to be the only thing that was located out here in 1995 when I first moved here. We used to take our large items for disposal out here and drove in on a different road than you were on today. You can see glimpses of the old road here and there, but you need to have a sharp eye.
Once you are at the first coordinates you are looking for a No Dumping sign, read the sign and find the Chapter number, that number will be the clue for 'A'. Now off to the next WP.

WP2 is located at N 33 05.718 W 117 12.155, There is no legal parking right in front of the location, but there is parking and a trailhead at N 33 05.768 W 117 12.008. At this location you will need to read a sign and you are looking for the numbers that follow ELE. The first digit will be your clue 'B', the second digit will be your clue 'C' and the third digit will be your clue 'D'.


WP3 is located at N 33 05.848 W 117 11.868, you are looking for a large white item , on that item there is a date. The day of the month listed minus 10 will be clue 'E'. Now onto the next location.


WP4 is located at N 33 05.994 W 117 12.097, you are looking for a plaque on the wall. The clue for 'F' is the number of the month following Chartered. The clue for 'G' will be the last digit of the year in which the plaque was Dedicated.
OK, now you have all the clues to help you figure out the final location and the secret code that you will need once you arrive.  The final cache is located at:

N 33 06.FE[D-E]  W 117 13.GA[B+C+E] 

  The secret code is BFD.

The final location may involve a drive from your final waypoint. Be careful when finding a parking spot near the final location as there is not much parking close by. final parking at N 33° 06.FFA W 117° 1[G-E].BEF
You will need to put on your thinking caps once you get to the final location to solve and retrieve the cache. Please do not destroy any elements of the cache and reset all secret codes when you are done. Happy Caching!
