This cache is a small, out in the country easy to access. Take time to enjoy a country drive . The cache includes fishing related items and many memoies for our family.
Bethel Church is no longer standing and there is no school children playing at Hawker school this area was home to my family, first my grandfather and all of his sibblings in the early 1900 . He moved back with his children in 1935 and stayed there for a short time.
Many stories surround the church and school, fishing on the Hungry Mother creek, fight at school, truck farming, hunting mushrooms, and ice cream socials on a summer day to name a few. The community did a lot of things together back then, times were tough but the family unit was strong.
A lot of our loved ones are now layed to rest here, if you look for the hand made head stone you will see my familys resting place.
Come out on a nice day and enjoy the peace and quite for a while.
Thing related to my grandfathers love for fishing is in this cache to start out with, it is a small camo container.
