For those of us who have driven through Gorst for years and remember the grocery store that once stood on this site, you will know exactly where to find this one. This cache is dedicated to Ted and Gertrude Thompson who originated the TB&M grocery stores, the first being in Gorst. They provided many services to our community and gave to many charities. Thank you Ted and Gerti for all that you did.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE GRASS TO FIND THIS CACHE. There is a small memorial for Ted and Gerti where the cache is located so please respect the grounds. This is an easy park and grab and while you're there, please take a moment pay tribute to these great people. The cache container is a white film canister. The coords should be right on, but please let me know if ther're not.
