Geocache Description:

A traditional cache hidden at the point that the spring of 'Chadwell Springs' originates.  Constructed in 1603 to provide north London with drinking water via the New River, which is neither new or a river.

The Kings Meads consists of several meads between Hertford and Ware, The New River starts on the meads at the 'Banjo' which is a circular bowl from which the spring derives it's water.
