A milestone is one of a series of numbered markers placed along a road or boundary at intervals of one mile or occasionally, parts of a mile. This cache is the first in a series that I plan to place over the next few months. They will all be along the same concept - which if you haven't guessed will become evident to everyone who finds them. This particular cache is in a position that I have walked past many times - and is an ideal spot for a cache. Quiet but busy!
I bet most of the local muggles wouldn't be able to tell you how far away London is!
It is easily accessible to all, but at the side of a busy main road.
Parking is close by and even a little shop to pick up refreshments whilst walking.
This cache could be used as a starting point to the many hidden gems in this area.
The best clue is to find the object that tells the answer to the question... How many miles to London?
Once you have found the object the cache is not far away DO NOT cross the road - it is too busy
