Geocache Description:


This is our family's favorite hiking trail. We hiked it many times in many different times of years and weather. We often take out dog Binkey for the ride. We call it "Whitaker" trail even though it's not its official name. We love this trail because we can just leave our house, no need to drive and within a few minutes we're tranported into a rain forest, no sounds of the city, no houses or nothing. It crosses 2 streams with little wodden bridges and has very nice scneary. It also intersects with the Preston trail on several places. The trail is also very good for bikers and had an offshoot with some old wooden bike ramps. That's where we hid the cache. The cache is a medium sized Kalamata Olives glass jar. It has a small log and a red pen and a few other knick knacks.
