This cache replaces an unpublished half-way cache that was hidden by Unimogger many years ago until it was recently found by a cacher. Contents were old and the log was signed by many muggles dated back in 2008! I replaced it with a new container.
Hawaii Loa Ridge is a private residential gated community. So when you reach the guard gate, just tell them that you are going hiking.(Hiking trail hours start around 7 am and you must be out by sundown) It is a public hiking trail so they have to let you in as long as you can finish your hike and leave the parking by sunset. Bring your ID and including passengers ID and they will give you a vehicle pass and make you fill out a quick form before you enter the gates.
The cache is placed alittle more than Half-Way (more like 3/4th way) on the trail but before the climb to my other cache "Hawai'i Loa Summit" GC2EBN2. I couldnt get accurate coords so you can use the hint picture. FTF prize is an unactivated Geocoin.
