Geocache Description:

This is a nice quite rural park located near Palmyra and Eagle. You can find the rugged features of the Kettle Moraine area with uplands, steep kettles, a man-made pond, and lowlands. The park is used for picnics, hiking, nature study, sledding, fishing, ice fishing, ice skating, snowshoeing, and most recetly, an 18-hole disc golf course. Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Bring the family and spend the afternoon. There is a covered shelter, restroom facilities, pump house with two benches, playground, picnic tables, grills, hiking trail, man-made pond, and savanna restoration. If you take the path behind the water pump, you will find the pond where you can fish.

This park has an automatic gate that opens at dawn and closes at dusk. GeoCache Placement Permit has been filed with the Jefferson County Parks Department.

Please place the cache back where you found it so it is not completely out in the open.
