The cache is a small bucket painted brown with a bit of SWAG. As always, bring a fair amount of water with you, especially when hiking in the desert. Also, watch out for the dangerous critters.
Obviously, there is a different climatic dynamic in this drainage than exists even mere feet away from it. For example there is another wash a short distance away that doesn't contain the same amount of trees and bushes that this one does. I'm impressed with this microclimate and others every time I drive the Red Rock Loop.
