Geocache Description:

Family friendly adventure and short walk to the cache! We brought the entire family and planned to place the cache at the summit, but got hailed and rained on our way up the trail! While a 20-month old was being sheltered from the hail (and was very unhappy!), and we sloshed around in mud puddles, our 7-year old placed the cache in a family friendly location just off the trail.

The cache is located off the Elliott Highway, Mile 28, Wickersham Dome Trailhead. The cache is located about 400m up the trailhead, a small walk (about 20 feet) off the left side of the trail (as walking up). Cache container is a large ammo box filled with small kid toys, a few hand made King Salmon fishing lures (be careful, the hook ends are sharp and ready to use!), a log book, and a pen. There is a geocaching sticker on the side of the box and it is tucked away sheltered from the hail.
