Geocache Description:

Park at Howard Road. Level terrain, but not handicachable. Small exterior with micro interior.

This trail is an old railroad grade. The land was donated by the Federal Government. In winter it's good for x-c skiing and snowshoe travel. In summer, walk or bike it. Horse travel OK. No motorized vehicles, so it's quiet and peaceful most of the time.

Stealth required at times of heavy use. Many walk their dogs here. RLDrosophila and I have x-c skied here with ours.

You might get this cache while waiting for it to be dark enough to do the nearby night cache.

Do you remember "Laugh In?" I do! It was a hit TV show in the late 60's and early 70's. It made Goldie Hawn, Lily Tomlin, and others into STARS. It also added some catch phrases to the vernacular, some of which have died; some of which live on. Youngsters, GOOGLE it to see how mom and dad (or grandma and grandpa) got their chuckles. Even President Nixon had a brief cameo, though I did not see this mentioned on the site I Googled. However, I remember it well, cuz I am OLD!

Cache is a ways off the trail, but the terrain is kid-friendly.
