Monson Township, Traverse County, Minnesota, USA. The geocache is NOT hidden in, on or under the buildings on this property. This geocache has been placed with permission. The geocache is available in the winter and it should be winter friendly due to it being above normal snow levels in this area. You may need to park on the road if there is deep snow.
The building that was on the property served as a one-room schoolhouse and then as a polling station for the citizens of the Monson Township. The building was torn down and removed in 2024 so the original hiding place was destroyed along with the regular size geocache. I replaced the geocache with a micro size container in a spot closer to the road. The size on the geocache description will stay as regular so it does not mess up the statistics of previous finds. There is a Geodetic Survey Marker near the driveway of the property, so if you like to find those too you have one stop shopping.
