Congratulations to the ultra-speedy Budzdunwerkin team for the FTF [Coordinates changed 1/1/15. See note.
Challenge caches have become very popular of late. I enjoy them because they give you a purpose or goal to go after rather than a routine caching day. So, it is about time that I placed a challenge cache myself. They come in many versions depending on the qualification requirements for logging a find. This is one of the more simple versions requiring finding caches with a certain word in the title.
If you have cached for any time in our local area you know that we have lots of rocks, way too many. And, the piles of rocks make tempting places to hide a cache. Every time I find myself stumbling and scrambling over a big pile of rocks putting my ankles and bones in peril I always vow that I will never again go after a cache hidden in a rock pile. Then another one comes along and off I go. This cache challenge is to make up for all those rocks you have survived.
The cache is an ammo can at the given coordinates. And, (forgive me please) it is hidden in a pile of rocks on a pile of rocks in the notorious land of rocks, Mississippi Bar. To log the cache as a find all you have to do is have found 30 caches with the word "Rock or Rocks" in the title. Please no included rocks like Rocklin, or rocky, or rocking etc. just rock or rocks. If you want to pre-sign the log and post a note, please wait until after the FTF has been claimed. For the FTF there a token prize of a gold Lincoln dollar.
I did a sort of my founds data base for rock caches and found no less than 56 of them. I have included a list in case you need help finding some. You may show your rock caches in any way you like. No ankles were broken in the process of placing this cache. Please be careful and not let that happen during the finding.
