One of the newest additions to the Chuckanut Mountain Trail System, the Raptor Ridge Connector links the top of the ridge with the North Lost Lake trail. Though some parts of it are a bit steep (it was built by mountain bikers), it has some fantastic scenery!
The shortest way of getting to the cache is by parking at (N 48° 42.147 W 122° 28.895), and following the trail up through Arroyo Park, taking the left fork at each junction until it ends at the end of California St. From here, follow the marked Hemlock trail, turning right onto the North Lost Lake Trail after a short distance. Follow the North Lost Lake Trail, ignoring any other junctions, until you you reach the signed beginning of the Raptor Ridge Connector Trail ( N 48° 40.661 W 122° 28.277). The cache is about midway between the Lost Lake Trail and the ridge. To make a fun loop, I recommend continuing along the trail to the ridge, and descending via the Old Raptor Ridge and Hemlock Trails.
Happy Hunting!
