Geocache Description:

This is a peanut butter jar with a log and wrist bans celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts.  It is located near the entrance of Camp Little Cloud between Graf and Bankston.  I would recommend long pants when retrieving this cache and beware of what else mother nature may throw at you... Please hunt for this cache during the day only. Cache was placed with permission from the Ranger of Camp Little Cloud.

The Girl Scouts of America was founded on March 12, 1912 in Savannah, Georgia by Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low.  She originally started with 18 girls and worked out the organization to become the biggest girl organization equivalent to the Boy Scouts of America.  The first part of being a Girl Scout is learning the Girl Scout Promise and the Girl Scout Law.  This level is called Daisy Scout equivalent to Tiger Cubs in the Boy Scout.

Upon graduation from Daisy Scouts the girls will enter Brownie Scouts.  Here they will learn basic knowledge of many things such as First Aid, Camping, Money, and the Community. Being that this is a Girl Scout cache, I would appreciate if the FTF cachers would allow a Girl Scout or a former Girl Scout to be the FTF... Thanks and Have Fun!!!

I will enter more information in the future depending on my daughters interests in Girl Scouting.

Congrats to shdw-wolf's other half for being the FTF former Girl Scout!!!
