For many years I've driven through Banner on the way to visit my parents. Today, on the way through, I noticed a road called "Banner Bypass."
As you know, a bypass is usually a quicker route than heading through a city. I was really excited to try it out, and avoid all the traffic of this major metropolitan area. As it turns out, though, it's not a good alternate route for Route 24, and you'll have to negotiate several speed bumps along the way. I guess it could save you a little time getting to the Conservation Areas though.
