An easy cache in one of Sammamish's newest parks with beautiful trees and trails.
We named this cache for our daughter and her favorite book, and we've seeded it with some appropriate dragon stickers. We started geocaching soon after she was born in 2010, and it's only appropriate that our first cache is in her honor.
Parking is along the street outside the fence, and it's just a short walk to the wooded area.
Despite the presence of a house, this is public property, recently donated to the city of Sammamish. We chose this park because, before it opened, we were some of the volunteers clearing the trails and preparing it for the public. It doesn't take long to walk through the entire park, and it's very good for kids. Over the next few years, more land will be donated to the city, providing further caching opportunities.
The cache is slightly off the trail. Beware of thorny vegetation around here in some seasons.
